David Watts

David W. Watts of Hyannis died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at the age of 82 surrounded by his family. The eldest son of Edgar W. and Bernice (Everett) Watts, born on September 1, 1929, in Easton. David was a 1947 graduate of Oliver Ames High School. After serving as a Sgt. 1st Class in Korea he spent some of the best times of his life as a Merchant Marine. He later became a Machinist by trade. He lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., for 35 years and Hyannis for the past 13 years.
David was the husband of the late Joan (Marsters) Watts of West Barnstable. He was a loving father to Sherri Lynn Watts of Hyannis and Patti Ann Watts of Yarmouth Port. A stepfather to Cathy P. Dutra and Cynthia G. Long. He was a loving "Bampy" to Weston W. Watts, Caleb J. Watts and Caylin P. Dutra. Brother to Robert Watts of Media, PA, and to Nancy Hurley of Easton; as well as being a loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers James Watts of Chelsea, MI, and Allan Watts of Easton.
