David Munstis

January 15, 1953 — June 6, 2018

David L. Munstis, 65, of Hanson, passed away June 6, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Frank J. Munstis and Marguerite (DesChamps) Munstis. Dave will be forever remembered by his son Dave and wife, Nikkie, of Plymouth; his son Paul and wife, Katy, of Kingston; his brother Kenneth and wife, Phyllis, of Hanson; and his sister Francine, of Weymouth. He also leaves behind his loving grandchildren as well as his nieces and nephews.

Dave was in incredibly skilled carpenter and graduated with an associate’s degree in engineering. Dave (known as ‘Coach’) to many, was an umpire, coach and board member of the Ted Williams League. He was also a former member and board member of The Hanson Athletic Association. He enjoyed music greatly, and played the bass guitar as a band member of Line Drive with his best friend, Steve Ferroli.

He loved to play baseball, as well as cook, spend time with his family, friends and grand puppies. He was also an avid supporter of veterans and the military. He had an infectious laugh and amazing love and generosity for his family, and all those he knew. Dave will be profoundly missed by so many.

A Memorial mass will be held at 11:00a.m., Friday, June 15 th at St. Joseph’s Church in Hanson, MA. 1 Maquan St, Hanson, MA 02341
