Daniel Joseph Quersher Jr. of Whitman passed away suddenly in his home on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 after a period of declining health.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time with those he loved. He truly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He also had a deep passion for all things car-related, which began with his precious 1970 silver Monte Carlo.
Born on April 13, 1971, to Daniel Sr. and Dianna (Harris) Quersher, Dan grew up in Hanson and graduated from Whitman-Hanson Regional High School in 1990. His childhood and adolescence were spent with his brothers and neighborhood friends “on the backside” of Harvey Circle engaging in various shenanigans. Inspired by his father, Dan began working alongside him at Wozny, Barbar, & Associates in January of 1995, where he remained a dedicated employee until his passing.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Alicia Isabella and Jordan Alyssa, and their mother, Sheryl (Scriven) Quersher, as well as his parents, Daniel Sr. and Dianna (Harris) Quersher, and his siblings: Shawn (Christine), Kimberly (John) Desmet, Keith (Elizabeth), and Neal (Suzanne). He was also survived by several cousins, his 29 nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Louis & Katherine Quersher, his maternal grandparents Edward & Myrtle Harris, and his in-laws, Edwin & Delphine (Plasse) Scriven.
He will be laid to rest with his most loyal friend, his cherished canine companion, Bruno Joseph Quersher “Jr.”
