Chester Tingley, Jr.

Chester D. Tingley, Jr., 88 of Whitman formerly of West Bridgewater passed away December 26, 2016 at the VA Medical Center, in Brockton. Husband of the late D. Marie (Sullivan) Tingley and the late Beverly (Hynes) Tingley. Son of the late Chester Tingley and Marion (Dunham) Tingley Nash.  He is survived by his daughters Sandra Parker of Pembroke, Lynne Tingley of Tucson, AZ, and Judi Tingley of Onset.  Brother of Dorothy Carozza, and the late Donald “Harpo” Tingley, Babe McVey, and Audrey Tingley. Grandfather of Richard Nichols of Pembroke and Joshua Tingley of Onset. Great-grandfather of Brittney  Nichols of Boston, Jillian, Ricky, Ryan, Eve, Faith and Ryder of Pembroke.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Chester worked for Hallamore Trucking Co. for over 30 years. He loved to play the harmonica and banjo. He also loved restoring cars and he was dedicated to his 2 dogs Pedro and Harley.
