Carolyn M. Nee

Carolyn M. Nee of Boston passed away peacefully on June 4, 2023. Carolyn was born, raised and educated in Boston and graduated from St. Clare High School in Roslindale where she excelled, achieving a prestigious award for fluency in Latin. After graduation she attended Rivier College in Nashua, NH.  Carolyn spent many years working as a clerk with the Boston Police Department.

Carolyn was a gental and kind woman. She loved all music and especially loved playing her piano and guitar. In the 1970’s she was a member of the folk group at the Paulist Center in Boston, where she sang and played guitar weekly. Carolyn was a resident at the Royal Rehab Center in Norwell for many years and made many friends of whom will miss her dearly.

Carolyn was predeceased by her parents John and Grace Nee of Boston. She leaves behind several cousins and will be especially missed by her devoted cousin, Ann Hayward of Neponset.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral Mass for Carolyn at the St. Francis Xavier Church at 234 Pleasant St, Weymouth on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 10AM. A burial will follow the Mass at the New Cavalry Cemetery.
