Carol A. Brew of East Bridgewater passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024, at the age of 79. Carol was born, raised and educated in Dorchester and graduated from Dorchester High School in 1963. She grew up in the neighborhood of Codman Square with her childhood sweetheart and future husband Randy and the two wed in 1965. They moved around a little bit before settling in East Bridgewater where they raised their family.
Carol would light up any room she walked into. She loved cooking for her family at anytime of the day or night. Anything from a hot meal every weeknight, Sunday Dinner or making munchies late night for her family and friends. She loved laughing and having a fun time. She loved going to Foxwoods, playing bingo at St. Bridget’s and above all else she was devoted to her family. She was the caregiver of the family and took care of her brother Freddy and her mother Lucy in her home for decades. She adored her children and grandchildren and would cherish every moment she spent with them.
Carol was the beloved wife of 59 years of Randy Brew of East Bridgewater. She was the loving mother of David Brew and his wife Shannon of East Bridgewater and Kimmarie Blanton and her husband Bill of Hanover. Carol was most proud of her grandchildren Kyle, Bryce, Cameron, Sophie, Dean and Evan. She was predeceased by her 9 siblings and leaves behind many extended family and friends.
