She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Joseph, her two daughters, Carla and Melissa, and her son, Scott. She took great pride and joy in her six grandchildren, Samantha, Amanda, Olivia, Tyler, Alexander, and Jonathan.
Carol was born on December 25, 1932, the only child of Charles and Agnes Lund. She grew up in Mamaroneck, New York. Carol and her husband, Joe, were high school sweethearts and graduated from F. E. Carol was a very active member in the parish of St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church in Mamaroneck where she was a member of St. Cecelia’s Guild. One year the church presented a Twelfth Night Pageant for which Carol designed and created all of the costumes for over 30 participants.
Prior to moving to Harwich, Carol and Joe lived in Bridgewater, New Jersey, where Carol was professionally taught folk art painting. Many of her paintings hang on the walls of her home in Harwich. Carol and Joe were members and past officers of the Cranberry Valley Social Group.
