Brianna Braden Davis

Brianna Braden Davis of Whitman passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2023 at the young age of 19. Brianna Braden was raised and educated in Whitman graduating from the Whitman-Hanson High School with the class of 2022. She/he worked for several years on the setup crew with Busy Bee Jumpers and also was a furniture assembler with Wayfair.

Brianna Braden was a talented black belt martial artist and the family at the Tama Dojo in Whitman was instrumental in creating the person that she/he became. Brianna Braden had the opportunity to travel to many countries and compete in the world championships where she/he finished receiving the silver medal on her very first attempt in 2015.  She was a role model for the many students at the Tama Dojo and will be greatly missed by the many students who looked up the her.  Brianna Braden enjoyed other sports as well, playing basketball, soccer and competing on the high school wrestling team. While not active at some sporting event she/he was a silly, goofy teenager that would light up a room with a smirk and a one-of-a-kind personality.

Brianna Braden was the beloved daughter of Scott Davis of Whitman and his late wife Laurie. She/he was the cherished sister of Brett Davis, his wife Josie of Missoula, MT and Bridget Davis of Whitman. Brianna Braden was the granddaughter of Gregg Davis of Whitman and his late wife Katherine and also leaves behind her/his uncle Jayson Davis and his wife Kelly and son Ricky of Middleboro as well as many other  cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation in memory of Brianna Braden on Tuesday February 28, 2023, from 4-8 in the evening at the MacKinnon Funeral Home (760 Washington St. Whitman). A funeral service will take place the following morning Wednesday March 1, 2023 in the funeral home at 10AM. A burial will immediately follow at the Colebrook Cemetery in Whitman. All are welcome to gather with friends and family at the VFW in Whitman from 12-4.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to MSPCA Angell
