Brian R. Morrison

Brian R. Morrison of Yarmouth passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2024, at the age of 68. Brian was born, raised and educated in Boston. He graduated from Roslindale High School with the class of 1974. After graduating he attended trade school where he achieved a certificate in Butchery. He worked many years as a butcher with Star Market and other various markets, most recently with Dennis Public Market in Hyannis.

Brian was a fun-loving man with a big heart. He enjoyed listening to music, cooking on the grill, fishing and sports. When he moved to Yarmouth from Charlestown, he gained a yard and fully embraced all the gardening and work around the house making sure everything was perfect. Brian always made sure to set time aside for the people in his life and will be deeply missed by all with whom he made connections.

Brian was the son of the late Ralph and Rita Morrison. He was the loving sweetheart of Kathleen Turner of Yarmouth. Brian was the brother of Kathleen MacGilvray her husband Ed of Whitman, Kevin Morrison his wife Patricia of Bridgewater, Patricia Grimmett her husband Steve of Bridgewater and was predeceased by his sisters Mary-Ann and Ginny. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation in memory of Brian on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 10-11AM in the MacKinnon Funeral Home (760 Washington St. Whitman). A memorial service will immediately follow at 11AM in the funeral home.
