Angela Mazetis

Angela "Angel" Mazetis of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Hull and Randolph Massachusetts passed away July 9, 2015.  She was 86 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sara (Falciani) Baldassare.  She is preceded in death by her beautiful daughter, Nancy Mazetis and the love of her life, Lou Valanzola.  She was the loving mother of Donna Mazetis of Boynton Beach, Florida and Linda Mazetis Brumfield of Kennesaw, GA and mother by choice of Louis and Debbie Valanzola of Rockland, MA.  She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild who calls her Super Nana and 2 first cousins, Adriana Gallagher of Brockton, MA and Susan Farago of Wollaston, MA.

Angel worked for many years at State Street Bank.  She took pride in her job and retired as an officer in 1988.  She enjoyed tennis, long walks, crosswords, puzzles, and line dancing.  Her love of music, however, is what family, friends and neighbors remember most about her.  She was always singing, causing smiles from everyone.  This love is firmly and joyously instilled in her children and is the center of most warm memories from all.  She will be deeply missed.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Thomas Aquinas Church 97 South St., Jamaica Plain, on Friday July 17th at 10 AM.  Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.

Internment St. Michael’s Cemetery, Roslindale.
