Albert O. King of Duxbury passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 95. Albert was born, raised and educated in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School in 1946. After completing high school Albert joined the United States Navy and proudly served his country for over 3 years. Albert was honorably discharged and attended Mass College of Pharmacy and then Bridgewater State University for his degree in education. He taught at Boston English School and Randolph Public Schools all while working part time as a pharmacist at various pharmacies.

Albert was a kind man and proud veteran. He was active in the Naval Sea Cadets and Veterans Association at Oak Point in Middleboro. In his free time, he enjoyed playing the drums, reading and target shooting. Above all else Albert loved spending time with his close friends and family.

Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife Irene King. He was the loving father of Gordon King, his wife Christine of Hanson, Douglas King, his wife Cindy of Plymouth and Bruce King, and his wife Tammy of Weymouth. He was the cherished grandfather of Al, Sean, Cory, Kayla and proud great grandfather of 8.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 11:30AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Albert’s memory to Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy.
