Zigurds Rinkulis
August 11, 1927 — February 7, 2011
Zigurds Rinkulis of Whitman formerly of Dorchester passed away February 7, 2011 at Signature Brockton Hospital. He was 83. Zigurds was born in Latvia and proudly became a U.S. citizen in 1956. He loved gardening, fishing, nature and spending time outdoors. He will be sadly missed.
Beloved husband of 57 years to Mary (Burke) Rinkulis. Father of Peter Rinkulis and his wife Joanne of Braintree, Paul Rinkulis of Boston, Anna Murray of Plymouth, Kathleen McCann and her husband Joseph of Weymouth, and Patrick Cronin of S. Boston. Brother of the late Willis, Janis, and Skiadrite Rinkulis. Also survived by 7 grandchildren James, Kathy, Cheryl, Jodi, Matthew, Daniel, Ryan, and 3 great-grandsons.
Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home 760 Washington St., WHITMAN on Friday Feb. 11 th 4-8 pm.
Funeral Mass Saturday in Holy Ghost Church in Whitman at 9 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment at a later date at St., James Cemetery, Whitman.
