Robert Woodbury, Sr.

Robert F. Woodbury Sr. of Halifax passed away at his home Friday March 3, 2017 at the age of 95. Loving husband of the late Marian M. (Green) Woodbury. Son of the late Thomas J. and Margaret A (Hixon) Woodbury. Devoted father of Robert F. Jr. and his wife Patricia, and Lawrence A. both of Halifax, Donald J. and his wife Deborah of Kingston, Monica A. Irish and her husband Donald, and Margaret L. Logan both of Halifax Brother of Thomas J. Woodbury and Helen M. Houston. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren , and many nieces and nephews. Past Deputy Chief Halifax call Fire Department for 28 years and Superintendent Halifax Water Dept. A graduate of Whitman High School, was Self employed as a Master plumber for over 50 years, President and founder of the Plymouth County Water Works Assoc. Member of Halifax and Pembroke V.F.W. Posts. Member of Knights of Columbus and Holy Name Society at Our lady of the Lake Church. Veteran U.S. Coast Guard W.W. ll.
Visiting hour will be held in our Lady of the Lake Church Rte. 58 Halifax on Tuesday 10-11 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be at Central Cemetery, Halifax.
