Francis P. Moriarty, 72, of Brockton passed away peacefully Monday, December 15, 2014 at the Baypointe Rehabilitation & Nursing Facility following a lengthy illness. He leaves his devoted wife of 48 years, Judith (Peterson) Moriarty; his granddaughter, his pride & joy, Amber Reynolds-White. He is also survived by his three daughters, Theresa Malouf, her husband Fred and their children Nora, Aidan and Colin of Scituate, Michelle White of Holbrook and her children Joseph and Daniel of Brockton, and Dawn (Moriarty) Carter and her fiancé Robert Kelley of Canton. Mr. Moriarty is also survived by his brother, John and his wife Lorraine of Plymouth, his brother Thomas and his wife Cheryl of Lancaster, his sister Rose Phillips of Taunton, and his brother Peter of West Roxbury and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Moriarty was employed by Raytheon as a Computer Operator for 38 years, and then took an early retirement to be a “stay at home Papa”. In his earlier years, Frank enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing poker and visiting Castle Island in the summer for walks and fried clams. Frank was also as a friend of Bill W. and helped many people along the journey with support and service.
A memorial service will be held in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11 am.
